(NECN: Malden, Mass.) - Captain Tom Swanson of the Malden Police Department held a news conference this afternoon to discuss an armed bank robbery that took place this afternoon at the Citizens Bank at 876 Main Street in Madlen, Massachusetts.
A lone gunman fired shots inside the bank, but no one was injured.
The suspect is still at large.
Two area schools were placed in lockdown mode this afternoon as a precaution.
