Postal Worker Indicted in NH on Sexual Assault Charges

(NECN): A grand jury in Manchester, N.H. has indicted a U.S. postal employee on seven felony and three misdemeanor charges stemming from an investigation of a sexual assault against children that began in April by the Manchester Police.

The indictment against Francis Saucier, 44, was handed down July 20.

On April 26 Saucier was arrested for a misdemeanor sexual assault against a child he allowed inside his postal vehicle. Detectives continued to investigate the case after Saucier's arrest which led these indictments. These crimes are alleged to have been committed against three different children all of whom were allowed inside his postal vehicle. The children were between the ages of 7 and 10.

Saucier, of 260 Pawtucket Blvd in Tyngsborough Ma., was indicted on six different counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault. He also faces a felony charge of indecent exposure. The three misdemeanor charges are two counts of misdemeanor indecent exposure and one count of misdemeanor sexual Assault. There is no scheduled date for Saucier's arraignment at this time but it is expected to be in August.
