(NECN) - Losing weight is on a lot of people's resolution lists for 2014.
There are a lot of diets out there, but which one is the best?
A report from US News and World Report placed the “Dash Diet” as the best diet and the “TLC Diet” as the second best.
Dietician Liz Weiss joined us with more on proper dieting.
She said there is no diet that is perfect for everyone, as each diet is specialized in some way.
Weiss said, “It really depends what your goals are before jumping into a diet program.”
She said the “Dash Diet” is very concentrated on fruits, vegetables, whole grains and minimal fat.
She said it is very easy for people to keep up with it.
Weiss said it really comes down to diet and exercise.
