(NECN) - Today's launch of the Space Shuttle Endeavour has been scrubbed after a problem detecting in an onboard heating system, accourding to NASA.
A post to the shuttle blog noted that "Shuttle Launch Director Mike Leinbach has scrubbed today's STS-134 launch attempt because of an issue associated with Auxiliary Power Unit 1 heaters. There will be at least a 48-hour scrub turnaround while engineers assess the issue. NASA Television will air a news conference later this afternoon."
No word on whether the delay will mean that Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords will be able to stay for the new launch. She was flown from her rehab facility in Houston to view the launch. her husband is commander of the mission.
