(NECN) - A Silver Alert with a high risk level has been issued for a 76-year-old man with Alzheimer's or dementia, police in Saugus, Mass. confirm.
Police say Lawrence Mellen of Reading left his wife at the Boston Interiors store in Saugus Friday evening around 6:15 p.m., driving her green 2001 Saab SE95.
The vehicle's Massachusetts license plate reads 272LN5.
Mellen was last seen in a beige hat, a green-colored jacket from LL Bean, a royal blue t-shirt and blue jeans.
