Snowstorm Leads to Inspiration of ‘Cabin Fever' Game

(NECN: Amy Sinclair) - Snowstorms can lead to headaches and backaches, but for a Brunswick, Maine man, they led to inspiration.

It was a snowstorm that led to Mark Leaman's first case of cabin fever. Playing by candlelight,  father and son tested out a dice game Mark had been developing for years.

Like most good games, Cabin Fever has that winning combination of strategy, luck and silliness.

At first mark just packaged it up to give to friends, but over time he realized his little game had potential.

Now when he's not working his day job as webmaster at Bowdoin College, Mark's a one man assembly line. Filling orders for local toy stores like game box in nearby Topsham.
