Suffolk in the City: What Does YOLO Mean to You?

(NECN) - You may have seen it or maybe even heard it: YOLO.

But what is it? And why does everyone seem to be talking about it?

Our Suffolk in the City student reporters Dan Lampariello and Ashley Cullinane join us from Boston with more on YOLO.

What does the term mean to you?

A dad said his 13-year-old daughter explained to him it’s an excuse to do something stupid.

Someone else said it’s the new version of “carpe diem.”

Not everyone loves it, though.

Some think it makes no sense, while others just detest it.

Still others are buying into the “you only live once” saying.

Watch the attached video for more on YOLO and other phrases.
