(NECN) - The old saying goes, "build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door."
One well-known company is hoping to do just that, by building "greener" toilet paper.
Household paper product company, Kimberly-Clark will be "unrolling" it's new toilet paper without a cardboard tube in the middle. It will be available starting November 1st in Wal-Marts and Sam's Clubs. It's a solution that will potentially eliminate millions of pounds of material from waste stream.
Mark Sebell, founder and CEO of Creative Realities, a Boston-based firm that helps businesses be innovative, visited NECN and says that although inventions like this are great, America is still lagging behind the rest of the world.
