UPDATE: NECN's Tom Langford reports man fitting description of suspect was stopped and questioned near the Leahy Clinic, but was carrying an umbrella. NECN's Julie Loncich says police have video of man leaving mall with what appears to be an umbrella.
(NECN: Julie Loncich, Burlington, Mass.) - Massachusetts State Police units are off assisting Burlington Police at the Burlington Mall after police took a report of a man who appeared to have a rifle inside the mall.
A search of the mall and surrounding area is underway. Units have not located the man or confirmed the accuracy of the report. A perimeter has been set up and the mall is currently being evacuated.
According to Burlington Police, they are looking for a short, white male.
