(NECN: Boston, Mass.) - A 37-year-old man will be in court later today in East Boston, after he became unruly on a US Airways flight from Boston to Washington, according to police.
Massachusetts State Police say 37-year-old Ognjen Milatovic was arrested this morning after he apparently created a disturbance on US Airways flight 2025 from Boston to National Airport in Washington, D.C.
According to Massport, the passenger was standing in the aisle and refusing to sit and turn off his cell phone as the flight prepared to leave for Washington.
Phil Orlandella of Massport says the passenger then put a package in one of the luggage bins that emitted some sort of sound that concerned other passengers on the flight.
The flight was delayed at the gate after the arrest. Other passengers waited on the plane to resume their trip to Washington. Milatovic is expected to appear in East Boston District Court this afternoon.
