(NECN/WPTZ) - The Vermont Yankee nuclear plant is shut down this morning because of a radioactive pipe leak.
Technicians are working to fix a pipe that leaked radioactive water. They had to wait 13 hours for the plant to cool down before they could get into the area.
Vermont Yankee has been hampered by problems this year.
Plant officials say there is no risk to the public.
