Vt. Gov. Shumlin: Large Snowfall Is Great for the Ski Resorts

(NECN) - Another winter storm is making way through New England and the north is getting hit the hardest with over a foot of snow predicted in some areas.

For more on the conditions in Vermont, we were joined over the phone by Gov. Peter Shumlin.

He said that the road crews have been outstanding. He said that the snow is wonderful for the ski resorts and is providing a fantastic boost to their season.

He said, “You can’t beat the skiing here.”

Shumlin added that there have been no major problems, the power is on and crews are hard at work to keep the roads clear.
