Wakefield, Mass. Police Seeking Information on Missing Teenager

(NECN) - Wakefield, Mass. Police Chief Rick Smith announced that they are seeking information on a missing 14-year-old who ran away from a Department of Children and Families program in town recently.

Rosalinda Chavez has been missing since March 7. Chavez is a student at Everett High School. She has not been seen since being dropped off at school that day.

She has a history of running away and Wakefield Police think Chavez may be in danger.

Chavez is a Hispanic female, with light skin, 5-foot-5, weighing about 160 lbs.

Wakefield Police have notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Police in Boston, Everett, and New York have also been notified.
