Weather Week: Pack Up for These Fun Family Destinations!

(NECN: Joe Joyce) – It’s summer time and the kids are out of school. You need a plan. Here are some fun places to take the kids where they can learn about the weather.

Every Thursday in spring and summer at the South Shore Natural Science Center in Norwell, Massachusetts, kids can learn all about gardening and see what it’s like to grow a plant.

The Blue Hill Observatory in Milton, Massachusetts is steeped in weather history. It is home to the oldest continuous weather records in North America, dating back to 1885.

At the Museum of Science in Boston, there’s a full electricity show that shows people how it works and how it can even be used to make symphonies.
