Wells Fargo Admits Mistakes in 55,000 Foreclosure Cases

(NECN) -   Wells Fargo is admitting it made mistakes in 55,000 foreclosure cases.

The bank describes the errors as "technical" and says it sees no need to halt the foreclosure process.

Meantime, the foreclosure crisis is intensifying in many large metropolitan areas.

According RealtyTrac, Chicago, Seattle and Houston are seeing a jump in foreclosures.

But California, Nevada, Florida and Arizona account for 19 of the top 20 metropolitan areas with the highest foreclosure rates.
