Whats the Meaning Behind Latest MIT Prank?

(NECN) - MIT students have played their first practical joke of the year, and it shows they have game.

Early on Friday morning, students put up a banner of two characters from the arcade game Pac-Man.

The banner was hung on the school's Great Dome, and it features Pac-Man and one of his ghost enemies, Blinky.

As for the meaning behind it, the MIT alumni blog has some theories, including it being a metaphor for the upcoming semester, a nod to the two MIT alums who created Ms. Pac-Man or a commentary on violent video games.
