A woman was shot to death Tuesday outside a home in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The victim, identified as 23-year-old Deija Mendez of Boston, was shot on Coral Street, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office.
Police responded around 3:30 p.m. to find Mendez in the front seat of a black SUV suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene, the DA's office said.
No arrests have been made, but authorities say the shooting is not believed to have been a random incident.
