BBJ Report: GE Set to Receive Controversial Tax Breaks

Some are calling foul about some additional incentives the massive company is receiving from the Bay State.

General Electric received a $145 million incentive package from both the city and state after it announced plans to relocate its headquarters to Boston, Massachusetts this month, but that’s not all.

The Boston Business Journal’s Greg Ryan reports that the conglomerate also expects to receive a discount from the state on its corporate income taxes. He joined us to discuss those credits.
