A bicyclist is dead after being hit by an SUV Tuesday in Ipswich, Massachusetts.
The cyclist, a 58-year-old Ipswich man, was hit at the intersection of Topsfield Road and Congress Street. Police responded around 6 p.m.
The victim was taken to Beverly Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver, a 21-year-old Ipswich woman in a Jeep Compass, stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. No charges have been filed.
The crash remains under investigation.
