Police in Billerica, Massachusetts, have safely located a missing teenager from Vermont.
Ethan McGuire, age 13, was found safe early Friday morning in Lowell, Billerica police said in a tweet.
Police asked the public for assistance locating him Thursday night and said the teen had been missing since 6:30 p.m. from the area of Charnstaff Lane.

Billerica police thanked everyone for sharing the information on social media, and also thanked Massachusetts State Police and the Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council for their assistance.
