A person's body was pulled from a pond in Framingham, Massachusetts, on Tuesday.
The body found in Learned Pond appeared to be that of a man, Framingham police said. They haven't shared whether they know the identity of the person.
Footage from the scene showed first responders working on the frozen pond at the small beach area off Shawmut Terrace -- temperatures were dangerously in New England low Tuesday.
A passerby spotted the person's body and pulled him from the water, then called police, according to officials on the scene.

However, not all of the pond's ice was frozen over Tuesday, despite the extreme cold.
