Boston Man Charged Following Apparent Peeping Tom Incident

Genesio Cassimiro was allegedly spotted peering into home's window

An alleged "Peeping Tom" is free on $1,000 bail and has been ordered to wear a GPS monitor after being arraigned in a Boston courtroom.

Genesio Cassimiro, 51, of Allston, Massachusetts, faced a judge in Brighton Municipal Court after an incident near a Gardner Street home.

Cassimiro was reportedly spotted by numerous people in the act of watching a couple outside of a window. The people in the home did not see him.

When police approached him, Cassimiro said he was in the bushes to urinate.

Cassimiro has been charged with 1 count of disorderly conduct and 1 count of trepassing.

A Brighton resident actually caught a "Peeping Tom" on camera last week, but, police say there's no link between the two incidents.

Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at (617) 343-4256.

Cassimiro is represented by attorney Francis Tucker. He will return to court Sept. 29.
