Driver at Large After Carjacking, Fleeing From Police in Norwood

The driver of a stolen car led police on a chase Wednesday morning in Norwood, Massachusetts. The suspect fled the scene.

Massachusetts State Police spotted the stolen car out of Rhode Island and began pursuing it. The chase ended in Norwood at the dead end of Neponset Street.

Troopers could be seen searching the car on Route 1 in Norwood. State police said the theft occurred during a car jacking but it was not clear where.

State police and Norwood police conducted a ground with a K9, which ended around 4 a.m. The driver has not been found.
