Car vs. Motorcycle Crash Sends Man to Hospital With Serious Injuries

A motorcycle driver was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car in Rochester, New Hampshire on Wednesday.

Police say the motorcycle driver, Armand Bourret Jr., 76, of Rochester, was traveling south when he was struck by a 2004 Nissan Sentra at 1 Old Dover Road around 3:41 p.m.

The driver Jared Dixon 27, of Middleton, New Hampshire was pulling out of the Merchants Plaza parking lot when he crossed over into the motorcycle lane, according to police.

Bourret was not wearing a helmet at the time and was transported by MedFlight to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries.

Dixon was not injured and was released at the scene.

Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene.

Old Dover Road was closed while police investigated the scene of the accident.
