Clean-up Underway After Damaging Storms in New England

Clean-up is underway all across New England after powerful storms tore through the region.

The line of thunderstorms had strong wind gusts. There also were reports of hail and even a pair of tornado warnings. 

The National Weather Service confirmed that a microburst touched down in Haverhill, Massachusetts. 

Tom Hawley from the National Weather Service said golf ball-sized hail was reported in northern New Hampshire. 

In Maine, about 10,000 homes and businesses lost power. About 2,000 customers were in the dark in New Hampshire. 

A meteorologist near New Sweden, Maine, confirmed a tornado moving east in the area, according to necn's Michael Page.
