3 Men Arrested After Police Pursuit

Three men have been arrested on a variety of charges following a police pursuit in Hartford, Connecticut, according to police

Three men have been arrested on a variety of charges following a police pursuit in Hartford, Connecticut, according to police.

On Dec. 3, police received word that Corey Montgomery, who goes by the street name Corey “Gunz,” was in possession of a firearm and was driving a stolen vehicle in the area of Westland and Acton Streets

Detectives observed a gray SUV with New York plates parked in the rear of 2505 Main St. They approached the occupants of the vehicle as they got out.

The vehicle’s operator jumped back in the vehicle after noticing detectives and drove over a grassy area onto Westland.

He then jumped from the moving vehicle and began to flee on foot.

Detectives pursued him into 2 Westland St, where he was apprehended.

Two men inside the front room of the apartment, identified as Andre Davis and Corey Mackey, fled when detectives entered and they were apprehended as well after a second firearm and narcotics were located.

The three men arrested were identified as “Hood Star” gang members.

Montgomery was charged with operating without a license, reckless driving, burglary in the second degree and possession of drugs, among other charges.

Davis was charged with possession of drugs and carrying a pistol without a permit.

Mackey was charged with possession of drugs with intent to sell. He is a convicted felon.
