3rd Suspect Arrested in Killing Over Spilled Coffee

A third suspect has been arrested in Connecticut in a fatal stabbing that police say began as a fight over spilled coffee.

A 17-year-old Stamford resident was arrested Wednesday and charged with hindering prosecution. The Stamford Advocate reports that police say videotape shows the teen carrying undisclosed evidence from the scene. He's set to be arraigned Thursday in juvenile court.

Police say 52-year-old Antonio Muralles was leaving a McDonald's in downtown Stamford with a cup of coffee March 11 when he bumped into a 15-year-old boy, spilling coffee on him.

Police say the 15-year-old and 22-year-old James McLamb punched Muralles. The teen is accused of fatally stabbing him.

McLamb and the 15-year-old have been charged with murder. Each is being held on $2 million bond.
