Police say a Connecticut woman who went missing in the woods in Rhode Island has been found safe.
Necn affiliate WJAR reports authorities were looking for 22-year-old Mariah Manning, of Lisbon, Connecticut, who went missing in the woods of Narragansett tribal land near Charlestown Thursday afternoon.
Manning walked out of the woods around 9:30 Friday morning and flagged down a police officer.
Manning's friend told police that she was upset after getting off the phone with her mother, walked off and never came back.
