Boston Marathon Finish Line Forecast

An approaching cold front will bring some showers to the North Country of New England today, but elsewhere, ahead of that cool air, warmth continues to rule with highs rising into the 70s for the interior.

At the coast, sea breezes will develop and become so dominant that afternoon temperatures will fall at places like the Boston Marathon finish line, ending the day in the 50s and serving as a sign of new, cooler air to come.

Overnight brings the passage of the approaching cold front, producing a few scattered showers into Tuesday early morning before very slow clearing over the course of the day.

Wednesday looks bright and cool before warmth attempts a comeback Thursday and Friday, sending temperatures into the 70s again before another cold front delivers some showers Friday.

The weekend looks fair and seasonable, around 60, with the 10-day showing a nice start to next week, as well.
