Two people were hurt in a crash in Milford, Massachusetts, that also knocked down a utility pole, bringing down power lines.
The crash brought down live electrical wires that sparked small fires and burned the surface of the road on Purchase Street.
Two men are being treated for head and face injuries at hospitals in Milford and Worcester.
The crash victims were rescued from a pickup truck they were riding in, while the driver of another vehicle trapped between the live wires was assisted by police and firefighters on scene.

"We actually have an eye witness that was behind the pickup truck and the eye witness' statement is that he never saw brakes being touched on the vehicle, and as the road turned, the pickup truck just went straight and collided with that telephone pole," said Milford Police Sergeant Robert Tusino.
"My hope is that we have power as soon as possible because I was working and I have no router, I have no access, I can't work since four o'clock," said Maria Phouthavon.
"It was kind of a cascading effect when you have an interruption like that with the power lines crossing," noted Tusino.

Repair crews worked late at night to restore power and installing a new phone pole. National Grid said electricity was expected to be restored by 2 a.m. Wednesday.
