A multi-car crash and a car fire briefly closed all of Interstate 93 southbound in Boston Wednesday afternoon.
The crash took place near exit 12, according to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. All lanes were initially closed, but they gradually reopened.
Drivers were told to try to avoid the area and expect delays.
