Discarded needles found in public bathrooms have prompted a push for needle drop boxes in Burlington, Vermont.
Officials are using data and pictures to figure out where to put them.
The boxes should be in place by the end of the year.
In the meantime officials are urging people not to pick up needles if they find them, but to use a phone app called "SeeClickFix" to report it.
