Firefighters are battling a blaze in a home in Woburn, Massachusetts, on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was reported shortly after 2 p.m. on Union Street.
One of the eight people who lives inside the home told NBC10 Boston off camera that the fire started while work was being done to the electrical system in the bathroom.
"The fire started on the second floor, back second floor, got up into the third floor and just took off from there," said Woburn Fire Chief Donald Kenton. "It's been tough for us, we're trying to actually get at the fire -- it's in the ceiling -- and the guys did a great job."
The weather outside didn't help, Kenton said.
The Stoneham Fire Department said in a post on X around 3 p.m. that they are assisting the Woburn Fire Department at the scene.
