Cause of Chelsea, Mass., blaze remains under investigation

(NECN: Jeff Saperstone) - Officials are on the scene of a two-alarm fire in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

The fire broke out Thursday morning at 43 County Road and crews have since put it out.

Brian Capistran of the Chelsea Fire Department said a lack of staff is made things difficult.

Two people inside the house were rescued by on-duty firefighters who were driving by the house and raced inside to help. One firefighter has minor head injuries.

Red Cross is on the scene helping those displaced by the fire.

Firefighters say the fire started on the right side of the building in a day room.
