‘Go Topless Day' Comes to Hampton Beach Sunday

Police Chief Richard Sawyer said officers are not aware of any counter-protests planned

"Go Topless Day," an event planned at locations across the country planned by "Free the Nipple" supporters, is set to get underway at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire Sunday.

According to Seacoastonline.com, police say there will be no extra police presence at the beach and that officers will respect.

Some supporters have reported being harassed and having ice cubes thrown at them at prior events.

Police Chief Richard Sawyer said officers are not aware of any counter-protests planned.

"Free the Nipple" supporters seek to fight back against societal norms and laws against exposing breasts.
