2nd Man Sentenced in 2013 Slaying of Biddeford, Maine Man

29-year-old Bub Peter Nguany, of Old Orchard Beach, was sentenced Monday

The second of three men who pleaded guilty in the drug-related killing of a Biddeford man three years ago is headed to prison.

The Portland Press Herald reports 29-year-old Bub Peter Nguany, of Old Orchard Beach, was sentenced Monday to 40 years for a knowing or intentional murder charge and 20 years for conspiracy to commit murder. The sentences were ordered to be served concurrently.

He pleaded guilty in November to his role in the death of 47-year-old Charles Raybine, who was shot multiple times in a parked car in 2013.

Two others charged in the case have pleaded guilty. Twenty-two-year-old Mohamud Mohamed received a seven-year prison term last month for conspiracy to commit murder.

Twenty-two-year-old John Lopez pleaded guilty to felony murder. He hasn't been sentenced.
