Beachgoers took charge Wednesday morning after a massive shark washed ashore in Maine.
WCSH6 reports that Lubec residents are working to save a 30-foot-long basking shark.
Photos sent to necn's affiliate show the rescue process; however, the person who sent the photos to WCSH says while the tide was rising to meet the shark, he doesn't believe it will survive.
