‘Buh-Bye': Maine Gov. Paul LePage Battles Hecklers at Town Hall

Maine Gov. Paul LePage has gone tit-for-tat with hecklers during a town hall forum, offering a sarcastic "buh-bye" to an unruly protester escorted out.

The Portland Press Herald reports Thursday's town hall in Bath was part of LePage's statewide policy tour, which stopped in towns both friendly and hostile to the governor in recent weeks.

Among the issues LePage responded to in Bath was his recent endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. LePage said he believes Trump is the only candidate who could defeat Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, who he described as "a woman who has one foot in jail."

LePage had a terse response when asked if he could go back and change anything during his time as governor. He said he wouldn't have run.
