The U.S. Coast Guard has rescued seven kayakers who became stranded on an island off Bar Harbor, Maine.
Officials say the kayakers were on a guided tour Sunday afternoon when high winds prevented them from returning to shore. Instead, they took refuge at the nearest island, Burnt Porcupine Island.
A Coast Guard boat arrived at the island and took the kayakers back to Bar Harbor. No one was injured.
