Don't Panic: It's Just a Pi Day Parody by Maine Teacher

There's no need to panic during geometry. A Maine math teacher has you covered.

Biddeford High School teacher Jon Jacques is continuing his tradition of celebrating Pi Day with parodies of popular songs, this year with his revision of "High Hopes" by Panic! at the Disco.

His version is called, "Pi Hopes."

Jacques is always fired up about the faux holiday on March 14 that celebrates the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, or 3.14.

He said his goal is to have fun and make math accessible to everyone, not just "geeks."

His past Pi Day efforts have parodied Michael Jackson's "Thriller," Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive," and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."
