Schools in a Maine town are closed on Monday as authorities continue to search for a shooting suspect.
Ellsworth police tell WCSH they're searching for Aaron Wagner in connection with a shooting on Sunday near the Deane Street Apartments. No one was hurt in the shooting, but an off-duty officer spotted him on Route 1A a few hours later before he evaded K9s and police again, according to law enforcement.
Police add that Wagner is more blonde now than in the photo they've provided to the public.
Wagner, 41, is facing charges of reckless conduct with a firearm and aggravated criminal mischief.
Anyone with information about Wagner's whereabouts is asked to contact Ellsworth police immediately.
