Fire Destroys Restaurant Preparing to Open

Flames broke out Friday morning in Bridgton, Maine

An Italian restaurant that was preparing to open for the summer season has been destroyed by flames, according to necn affiliate WCSH.

The fire broke out around 6 a.m. Friday at the "Wales and Hamblen" warehouse on Depot St. in Bridgton, Maine.

The historic building dates back to the year 1900.

No injuries have been reported and the cause of the blaze is not yet known.
