Horrible Traffic Reported Around New England

Police are urging drivers to use caution, take things slow

Traffic delays were reported across the Boston area, and much of New England Thursday morning.

A ramp was closed at Route 3A at I-95 northbound in Burlington, Massachusetts, due to a rollover.

The right lane was closed on Route 495 southbound north of Route 133 at exit 39 in Andover, Mass. for the removal of a vehicle.

There was a rollover crash on Route 3A near the Cohasset line in Mass.

Speed had been reduced on the Mass. Turnpike to 40 mph from Millbury to Ludlow.

Police in Lincoln, Mass. are asking drivers to use caution in the area, as they are dealing with several crashes due to the snow.

Worcester Police reported to Seaver St. at Route 135 for a car into a snowbank.

Police in Braintree, Mass. say a crash on Quincy Ave. has been cleared, but roads are getting slick. There are numerous minor accidents in the area.

In Maine, a driver from Georgia lost control of his tractor trailer Thursday morning in Wells. The truck jack-knifed in the road, shutting down the northbound lanes of the Turnpike for over 90 minutes. 

Carlos Tells, 29, told troopers he braked to avoid colliding with a vehicle ahead of him. Tells was not injured, and there was only minor damage to the truck. All the lanes re-opened just after 10 a.m.
