A Maine man is taking his Patriots loyalty to new heights.
Richard Pate, of Biddeford, Maine, has spent the last three days orchestrating airplane flyovers with pro-Patriots, anti-Goodell messages.
On Saturday and Sunday, Pate paid for a plane to fly over NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's Scarborough, Maine home. The banner it carried told Goodell to "jet" back to New York.
On Monday, Pate unveiled a new banner- this one wished Tom Brady and happy birthday. It was signed "from Maine and Roger G."
"I've received a lot of support and a lot of calls from a lot of people, so it's worth every penny," said Pate.
He said he got the idea when he saw Jets fans fly a banner calling the Patriots cheaters over Gillette stadium last week.
"The next morning I woke up and said this has got to be answered."

His answer has gotten a lot of attention. Pate's pilot, John Apt, said his friend in Africa saw the story about the battle of the banners in the news.
While Pate hopes Roger Goodell gets the messages, he's happy to know his banners have made other Patriots fans smile.
"I think it's awesome," said Denise Bennett, watching the banner fly over Old Orchard Beach Monday. "We are die-hard fans."
In upholding the Super Bowl MVP's suspension, Goodell said Brady destroyed evidence in connection with the probe into whether he was involved in the deflation of footballs in the AFC championship game.
Police declined to say whether Goodell was at his home when the banners flew over.
