Police are investigating after a Maine woman's body was found bired at her son's Baldwin home Sunday, according to Maine State Police.

The body was found buried at the home at 15 Harris Road.

Investigators do not suspect any foul play.

The woman has been identified as 72-year-old Carolyn Farnell who was living with her 43-year-old son Shawn Farnell.  The woman, who was sickly, likely died last week and was buried by her son on the property.

Family members have told detectives of the State Police that the woman did not want to go to the hospital and wanted to be buried on the property.

An autopsy has been scheduled.

No one has been charged and the investigative file will likely be reviewed by the district attorney's office once the investigation is completed and the autopsy results are finalized.
