Police in Maine have arrested an Alfred man they say fired a high-powered weapon outside his home Monday night.
Maine State Police say Thomas Prioa, 40, was Tased and subdued near a neighbor's house.
Police told necn affiliate WCSH the gun was fired several times at the home on Sanford Street. Police have not disclosed what type of gun it was.
Inside the home was a young girl who police said had some sort of relationship with Prioa, but they did not know if it was a family relationship. She left the home uninjured and is now with relatives.
