Man Dies After Car Plunges 30 Feet off Bridge in Lebanon, Maine

Jeffrey Brunelle, 32, of Sandford, died instantly in the incident at the Little River Bridge around 12:30 a.m.

A Maine man is dead after his car hit a guardrail and plunged 30 feet off a bridge in Lebanon Friday morning.

According to necn affiliate WCSH, Jeffrey Brunelle, 32, of Sandford, died instantly in the incident at the Little River Bridge around 12:30 a.m.

Police said Brunelle was speeding and tried to pass several vehicles when he lost control and went over the bridge.

He was the only person in the vehicle, which has been removed from the water.
