Man Dies, Home Destroyed in Maine Fire

Fire officials are working to determine how the blaze was sparked

A Maine man is dead following a house fire.

The fire marshal's office says 65-year-old Randall Luck died early Sunday when the fire broke out at his home in the town of China. Lake's body was found outside of the home. Investigators are still determining the cause of the fire.

Firefighters responded to a call around 1 a.m. Sunday after a plow truck operator first saw it. The fire occurred near Three Mile Pond in the town of China, just north of Augusta.

The fire marshal says the home was destroyed in the fire.
