Man Injured After Crashing Dirt Bike Into Pickup Truck

The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash

Police in Maine say a man has been injured in a crash involving a dirt bike and a truck.

WCSH-TV reports police responded to a crash Thursday night in Raymond. Police say 21-year-old Joshua Levesque, of Limington, was riding a dirt bike on the sidewalk along U.S. Route 302 when he crashed into a pickup truck turning into a shopping center.

Police say Levesque was thrown into the windshield of the truck. Authorities say the 21-year-old wasn't wearing a helmet during the time of the crash.

Levesque was hospitalized with a broken leg. The driver of the truck wasn't injured.

Police say Levesque faces several charges in the crash.
