Motorist Arrested for OUI After Crashing Into House

Police in York, Maine, say a woman was driving under the influence when she crashed her car into a home early Saturday morning.

Police in York, Maine, say a motorist was operating under the influence when she crashed her car into a home early Saturday morning.

Upon arrival at 198 Log Cabin Road, police determined the 23-year-old operator, identified as Sarah Sullivan of Saco, was traveling north on the road when she lost control of her vehicle, crashed through a fence, and struck the home, causing $3,500 in damages.

Sullivan suffered minor facial injuries and was transported to Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford. After being discharged from the hospital, Sullivan was arrested on OUI charged and held on $500 bail. Her vehicle sustained about $4,000 in damages.
